Hospital Days :)
With the craziness of coming home and getting settled into our routines, I realized today that I never posted any pictures from the hospital. We do not have a lot of pictures as we forgot the camera until the 2nd day we were there. In the rush to leave for the hospital....in the middle of "unexpected" labor...and a partially packed hospital bag, we forgot to grab the camera--oops! Here are a few of my favorite shots we managed to get :) He is changing so much already! ENJOY!

Week 3: update
3 weeks old already! Wow, how time flies! It is hard to believe that we have just passed the original due date of when Owen was supposed to enter the world. We simply could not imagine it any other way...he is a perfect fit in our family :)
He is definitely becoming more alert this week and having much more awake time throughout the day. We are starting to notice sleep & eat patterns, as well as distinguishing different cries. He is eating ALL THE TIME, so we are thinking he is going to gain weight quickly and catch up in percentiles. He eats every 2.5-3 hours round the clock, which the occasional 4 hour stretch. This makes for a very tired Mommy, but coffee helps that out :)
He LOVES, LOVES, LOVES to be held & snuggled....which sometimes leads to problems during the day when he only wants to nap if Mommy is holding him. Definitely need some grandparents/baby holders in the house!! :)
He loves to look in mirrors and play on his Rainforest playmat. Cameron doesn't really understand why he doesn't "play" with toys yet. He is constantly bringing toys, then quickly saying "mommy, Owen doesn't like the toy." Haha!

Big, bright eyes!
Owen is becoming more and more alert EVERYDAY! He is a wonderful baby, although I'm thinking he is already spoiled by mommy. He LOVES being held and snuggled :) Look at those cute little hands!

Tummy time :)
So far, Owen LOVES tummy time!! This is MUCH different than Cameron's feelings on tummy time as a baby. Owen is so content looking in mirrors, playing on his playmat, and just hanging out :) I just love those big "still blue" eyes. ENJOY :)
