I just LOVE tummy time:)



Owen also loves his playmat. He has figured out that when he kicks and moves the toys, he can make music and lights flash. Of course, his big brother loves to help him with that also!

Has it really been 2 months already???

Wow, I cannot believe that Owen is 2 months old already?? Where is the time...and my summer vacation going?? So much has changed as we have adjusted to our life as "Bauss party of 4," but we are loving every exhausting minute of the journey. Mommy and Daddy are finally figuring out how to balance 2 kids and settle into our life as a new family. Owen has grown and changed so much. I feel like I blinked my eyes and he transformed from a tiny, fragile 5 pound newborn to a chunky BIG baby...probably because he eats every 3 hours around the clock! He is very alert now, is starting to get on a routine with sleeping/eating (although I do not foresee him sleeping all night anytime soon), he is starting to coo and smile at familiar faces, can follow sounds and watch toys that hang above him, and has a strong little grip :) He LOVES his bouncy seat, his playmat, and loves to nap in his swing. He is also still a big fan of tummy time and seems to really enjoy when there is a lot of commotion going on around him...such as his curious big brother or lots of noise/children running around. So far, he is a WONDERFUL car baby...we are hoping that last through our trip to NC & FL in a few weeks.

Lil' Buddy

 

Owen's nursery is finally almost near completion. We just have a few more things to hang on the walls and we need to purchase a lamp and we are all set! He is taking naps in his crib right now...we haven't made the jump to night time in the crib. Our plans are to try it within the next week...we'll keep you posted :)

Little Hands

Owen is starting to interact a little more everyday. He loves laying on his playmat and watching the toys overhead. He is even starting to make contact with his little hands to move the toys around. So sweet!

Owen's favorite spot!

Owen just loves to be held, cuddled, and swaddled. His absolute favorite position: laying on his tummy all cuddled up to anyone that will hold him.

 

I just had to capture this precious expression while Owen was sleeping with Daddy on the couch.

 

5 weeks old...already!

Time is going so quickly already! Owen is already 5 weeks old--wow!

Such a sweet sleeping baby...I could look at him for hours!
