Happy baby!!

Owen is SO happy now. He smiles, coos, and talks to us ALL THE TIME! Growing up SOOOO fast!

 

So much expression!

Owen has SO much expression now. He loves to smile, coo, and "talk" with us. :) Here is a quick shot of him "talking/smiling" on our vacation.

 

A look of his own...

These pictures are taken in the exact same bouncy seat with the exact same outfit...around the same age for both. It is funny to be how "skinny" Cameron looks compared to Owen's little chubby cheeks. I can definitely see that Owen is starting to develop a "look of his own," although no one can deny they are brothers :)

Owen has so much more expression everyday! He smiles and coos ALL THE TIME now and love, love, loves his Rainforest playmat and bouncy seat. :) :) :) I just found a new Rainforest item in the collection online at Target....a Rainforest Musical Gym...and I am trying my best to control myself from buying it. I just love this collection...and if you remember Cameron loved it..and now Owen is showing just as much love! :)

Owen also loves his playmat. He has figured out that when he kicks and moves the toys, he can make music and lights flash. Of course, his big brother loves to help him with that also!

Has it really been 2 months already???

Wow, I cannot believe that Owen is 2 months old already?? Where is the time...and my summer vacation going?? So much has changed as we have adjusted to our life as "Bauss party of 4," but we are loving every exhausting minute of the journey. Mommy and Daddy are finally figuring out how to balance 2 kids and settle into our life as a new family. Owen has grown and changed so much. I feel like I blinked my eyes and he transformed from a tiny, fragile 5 pound newborn to a chunky BIG baby...probably because he eats every 3 hours around the clock! He is very alert now, is starting to get on a routine with sleeping/eating (although I do not foresee him sleeping all night anytime soon), he is starting to coo and smile at familiar faces, can follow sounds and watch toys that hang above him, and has a strong little grip :) He LOVES his bouncy seat, his playmat, and loves to nap in his swing. He is also still a big fan of tummy time and seems to really enjoy when there is a lot of commotion going on around him...such as his curious big brother or lots of noise/children running around. So far, he is a WONDERFUL car baby...we are hoping that last through our trip to NC & FL in a few weeks.
